AQ Mock Race :)

I am basically here to update about the tiring and pain-killing walk/run/jog/climb during this afternoon's Mock Adventure Quest! (Oh shh, we're not suppose to complain!)
We left school at 11am, and we took an hour to get a cab. Every cab we waved at was either on call or hired. So, we had to spend more $$ to call for taxi booking. And the $$ is proudly sponsored by Sir Albert Wong! :) Everyone was basically singing and jumping while waving for cabs. I was tanned to death! Standing under the sun for 1hour can seriously kill.
We met the other teams at Block 33 food centre, and we ate like super quickly because we were way behind time. Kelvin and I went over to the shop to get the team some mineral water bottles and some energy food while Nicholas help us get our lunch :) Thanks to everybody!
We walked over to ITE Dover to do ploting for our checkpoints. We were the first team to finish ploting if I am not wrong. After everything was done, off we go! It was generally a great start but as time goes by, I slowly get tired and more exhasted while my legs cramp slowly. BUT TA DAH! I GOT MY SECREAT WEAPON! :) Wanna know what it is? I'll put it at the end of the entry, so you'll have to read this wordy entry before you get my secret! In the mean while, try guessing! :)
While, I didn't expect the five of us to finish so many bottle of 1.5litres of water in such a short time that we had to go to Esso Petrol Station's toilet to refill all our bottles. We were all tired and we couldn't complain! We had to show a BIG BRIGHT JOLLY SMILE whenever we feel like complaining! Isn't that like the GREATEST idea for self-discipline? :)
Joshua injured himself, his ankle was hurting. Poor Boy! :( He was sent back home as we were concerned that his injury might get worse! Well, it was definitely a great time with him! :)
We finished Leg 1 in about 2hours plus? We reached Ghim Moh at around late 4pm. :) We were the first team among the others! We rested a bit at the checkpoint before heading for a BIG WALK at a park connectors path. It was about five rounds of the stadium? Lol! After the walk, Sir decided to head to Clementi MRT Station and end today's mock race.
It was definitely an experience. My legs are kinda sore now, hope it gets better. Did some things I never done before, like walking under the heavy rain like nobody's business for the first time :) But it was cooling and refreshing, plus it felt like I was bathing or at a spa treatment! :)
Now for the secret weapon! Tap your face with water to keep yourself awake and afresh! :) Hahaha! Don't say its lame, I'LL SMACK YA!
So the final four - SSG Ng Wei Sheng, SGT Nicholas Koo, LCP Kelvin Lee and myself, LCP Kane Raynard will be representing our COY during the actual Adventure Quest next saturday. While you guys enjoy at Sir Albert's apartment with potato chips and the enjoyment of the air conditioner, the four of us would be running around, cycling everywhere and enjoying the natural breeze! Do cheer for us in your heart and let's hope for the best! :) Joshua will stand in as the team Reserve :)
GO 34th AQ TEAM! :)
