**********************************************************************************
Copied this from SLT Jiang Shan last year.
Notes to take down :

Different types of tents :
  • Basha
  • Ridge
  • Dome

The things to always take note while pitching a tent :

  • Weather
  • Ground
  • Flat Ground
  • Do not pitch tents near water
  • Seek permission from owners of the land

NOTES :

  • Make sure there's nothing under or around your tents, you might get hurt
  • Make sure you put your bags neatly,it will afford you a lot of space(management wise)
  • Leave your footwear near outside the tent
  • Keep the area of the tent clean always
  • Tape the routines where everyone can see & waterproof the document (e.g ziplock it)
  • If you anticipate rain, dig a trench to drain out water/rain.
  • Do not site a camp toilet near to the water sources & where we cook food.
  • When using water resources, spare a thought for the next one using it
  • When injured, report to officers in-charge.
  • Do not cook or use a naked flame in the tent
  • Check whether there's anything in your shoes before putting your legs straight in.
  • Always have a partner beside you wherever you go during a camp.

If able, please copy down inside your notebook.
It will help you a lot in Adventure.

Congratulations !
7:02 AM on Saturday, February 14, 2009

Congratulations to our Captain Sir Albert & Ma'am Priscilla on their newborn baby,
Charis Wong Mu En.

Was born out on 12th February 2009 at 8.05 am.
Weighing 2.25 kg.

It's really God's grace that both mother & child was fine.
God watched over them both.

Our experience yesterday :

Qing Xiang , Boon Tat , Yong Xian , Gordon , Kelvin Lee , Jean , Jing Yee , Sulivia , Daphne , Elvina & Jasmine went to the Hospital yesterday.

When we saw the baby & ma'am Pris ,we were all Happy to see them safe.
Baby Charis Wong was so adorable.
She was sleeping soundly that no one could even wake her up.

Many people took turns to carry Charis.
Like Qing Xiang & some girls carried her.

Jing Yee felt like a mother & Qing Xiang said her weight is like carrying a filled water bag(:
Everyone was smiling & after that we left the Hospital.

we thank God for everything he has done,
may God give them the strength as new parents.

Pray for Ma'am Priscilla & Baby Charis Wong that they will get well soon.
As they are dis-charging today, pray for a safe journey back home.

THANK GOD.

warmest regards,
the 34th BB Company
